
First a brief background and explanation of the picture on the right:
These are my grandparents. This was taken by my exchange student/brother Johannes Reabel, in downtown Chicago when him, my grandparents, and I all participated in an anti-war protest in the streets.
Although for most of the evening he was using it, I really think that utilizing his greyfilter on this picture adds a lot more interest into the photo. Without the distraction of color, the facial expressions are far more visible. The lack of color also causes my grandparents to be the obvious subjects as the eyes is naturally drawn to them.
